Solutions Linux celebrated it’s 10th anniversary during the 2009 edition and confirmed it’s status as the premier Open Source exhibition. It gathers around the Linux oriented businesses and free software professionnals in Europe.

220 exhibitors and partners benefited from a record attendance - 8548 visitors - and a 12,5% growth. The event is boasting an already flourishing french linux market : 51% in 2008. Indeed, analysts forecast a steady 38% growth in 2009 followed by a 32% growth in 2010 (Source : Pac). Those figurs are confirmed by Gartner group, who indicate that in 2010, 75% of IT Managers will have a strategy primiraly focused on open-source software acquisition, representing 80% of their total budgets. Open-source is an obvious opportunity in the current economic context. Undoubtedly, the exhibition is a unique place to further grow the business in a dynamic market and a unique moment in the heart of the community with over 60 associations and user-groups respresented.
